We just participated in our last craft fair for this year and were so happy to see all of you who stopped by to visit our booth this weekend!  We had such a great time shopping from local vendors and sharing more about our Pretty in Gingham products.

Kiku Craft Fair

Happy Wednesday friends!

The cooler weather in SoCal this week has got us into the fall spirit.  With the Holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get a head start on your holiday shopping for family and friends.  We have always despised the crowds in the malls during the holidays and prefer to do as much of our shopping ahead of time as possible so we don’t feel so stressed.

The upcoming Kiku Crafts & Food Fair is one of our absolute favorite craft fairs to attend both as a vendor and a shopper.  It is extremely organized and easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.   Added bonus: there is always delicious food to snack on.  If you’re anything like us, shopping has a way of making you hungry!  We love to support small businesses and love being able to gift things that you can’t snag anywhere else.

New and improved tote bags

Happy Superbowl Sunday everyone!  It’s so hard to believe that February is already upon us.  We’re loving the fact that the days are slowly but surely getting longer and that the weather has been warmer for a change these past few days.

We’ve been keeping busy spending time with our grandson and preparing for our next craft show in March (more details to come).  One of the items we are super excited to be including in our next craft show haul are our new and improved tote bags.

Our Pretty in Gingham tote bags come in a variety of sizes and can be customized with the fabric and color of your choice.  All of our totes feature two sturdy straps, extra lining and plenty of pockets to keep your must have items organized.

Our smaller size totes make perfect lunch bags and are just the right size for taking on a walk with your pup or stashing your phone, keys and towel at the gym.  Our larger totes are great for work, shopping and the beach.

Mini Totes

We’re absolutely loving the cooler weather we’ve been having in Southern California lately!  It’s given us some extra energy which we’ve been funneling into preparing for our next craft show this coming weekend in West Covina.  We hope you’ll join us for a fun day of shopping and yummy food!

One of the newer Pretty in Gingham items we’ll be featuring at the Kiku Craft Fair are our mini tote bags which are dual lined and the perfect size for carrying your must haves when you’re on the go.  Our mini totes can be used as a lunch bag, knitting bag, small gym bag (for just the essentials like keys, membership card, towel and headphones) or for a few books.  We’ve also used tossed in a few doggy treats and plastic bags and brought one along on a walk with our pup.  For those with babies, these mini totes are also a great way to keep pacifiers, teething toys and burp cloths clean and organized.  In addition, our mini totes make great purses for the special little girls in your life.

Rainy days

We had some cooler weather and a bit of rain in Southern California this weekend which gave us a chance to dress our favorite little pup in her raincoat to keep her dry when we go out for walks.

We’ve also been busy working on restocking our inventory for some upcoming fundraisers, one of which is to benefit the local elementary school in our neighborhood where we volunteer weekly.  We’re excited to find different ways to give back to our community and to share our Pretty in Gingham products at the same time.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2015!  We hope you all had a restful, meaningful and fun holiday with loved ones.  It’s been unseasonably cold for Southern California lately so we’ve been trying to stay warm while we chart out our goals for the upcoming year.

2015 will be a big year for us as we will be adding a new member to our family.  In preparation, we’ve been researching some awesome tutorials for homemade DIY projects for the nursery like these great West Elm knock off floor poufs  from Addison Meadows Lane and these adorable changing pad covers from A Small Snippett.

We’ve also been busy working on some new new tote bags in preparation for an upcoming craft fair in the spring that we are really excited about.  These bags are perfect for carrying everything from library books to lunch to small groceries.  We often find ourselves packing a bag with snacks and drinks when we go out for a drive or our doggy Allie’s supplies when we take her out to the park or out for a long walk.  The canvas is sturdy yet lightweight and the inner pockets are perfect for holding keys, phone and chapstick.
