Mother’s Day is a holiday that is especially close to our hearts since this is a mother-daughter blog! In honor of the special women in your life, here are some really great Mother’s Day ideas I’ve seen floating around the web lately:
Mother’s Day Tea at Paris in a Cup in Orange, CA
Every year this adorable French themed tea salon in quaint Historic Old Town Orange has an annual Mother’s Day tea that is by reservation only and boy do those reservations go fast! We were lucky enough to snag one last year but I did not plan ahead enough this year and the seats were booked. Fail! Their five course Mother’s Day tea is so decadent and delicious, the service is amazing and they really go above and beyond to make the mothers in attendance feel special. If you live anywhere in the vicinity of Orange County, this is a definite must for your 2015 Mother’s Day plans.
Homemade Scones – Babble
If you can’t take your mom to a fancy tea, bring the fancy tea to her complete with any of these delicious scones.
Simple garden brunch – A Blissful Nest
Or if scones aren’t her thing, why not whip up a really simple yet adorable garden brunch featuring bakery cinnamon rolls and fruit salad
Colorful assorted juices in glass carafes – The TomKat Studio
These beautiful fresh colored juices look so delicious displayed in these adorable glass carafes. Plus, we love the sweet striped straws in matching colors!
Mod Podge hand prints – Mod Podge Rocks
This great project makes a really simple yet meaningful gift for any mother, grandmother, auntie, etc.
Free Mother’s Day printables – The Girl Creative
Free printables. Enough said!
Easy Mother’s Day flower arrangements – BHG
And of course Mother’s Day wouldn’t be Mother’s Day without flowers. I’ve been making my own flower arrangements for my mom and mother-in-law for the past few years and it is so much more fun to customize a bouquet or arrangement rather than getting something generic from the flower shop.
I hope these ideas help you to celebrate and spoil the special women in your life!
